I love Harley Quinn. There's no doubt about it. When I was getting into cosplay and considering characters to portray, Harley was always at the top of my list, but her classic costume was a little out of reach for me and my ability as a noob in cosplay and sewing. I stumbled upon Bombshell Harley Quinn, probably on pinterest, and decided it would be an easy starting project.

​I had been nagging Danielle to do a cosplay with me since the beginning of the year, and she agreed, and then she finally made a decision on a theme! We  went with Alice in Wonderland, because she wanted to do a rave style Cheshire Cat. Carley would be our tiny Alice. I ended up with the idea of doing a character mashup between the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter.

The idea for Ninetales came in early 2015 when a new friend suggested we do a cosplay duo. We decided on my favorite pokemon - Ninetales, and his favorite - Marowalk. His side of the project never even started, but I was too invested and too excited to stop now. Being my first real cosplay project, I spent quite a long time doing research and getting inspired. I was mostly inspired by Cowslip's Gijinka Dex, both the original and shiny design.
