Hey Guys! Today we're interviewing the stunning Corcid Cosplay. Read her full interview below <3 Hello I'm Brianna, AKA Corcid Cosplay! I've been cosplaying for a few years now and enjoy sharing my work with people. How and when did you get into cosplay? I always loved doing silly things for halloween and one day I went to a con and saw people did it year round! So I had to be a part of if :) How did you come up with your cosplay name? Corcid (core-sid) is actually just a name of a character I made in most of my MMOs, so I figured, why not change from game to game in real life! What do you do when you're not in cosplay or geeking out? Right now I'm in college as a Psych Major! I love spending time with my family and playing videogames. What is your proudest cosplay accomplishment? Probably Alexstrasza now! It took me over 70 hours and I love being a dragon queen! What cosplay(s) are you working on right now? I'm finishing up my Club Harley Dress, Gaige from borderlnds and the i'm going to be doing the Siren Alice from Alice Madness Returns :) Who is your cosplay idol/inspiration? That's difficult, probably Kendel B cause shes always been so kind to me! My inspiration in general is my mom though, I never thought she'd be so amazing and supportive of my cosplays. She truly is my #1 fan. What is your dream cosplay? Skill wise its Arkham Asylum Harley, doing that before October hopefully! It's gonna be difficult for sure. What is your favorite convention to attend? North Texas Comic Book Show and All-Con. What is your dream convention to attend? I would love to go back to SDCC one day! Do you have any cosplay or convention pet peeves? Just when people make cosplay a thing that doesn't really include all people. Its such an amazing hobby and it should be available to everyone. Do you have any horror stories or mistakes you've made that others can learn from? ..Don't try making something from spandex and fake leather your first time sewing.. also watch tutorials, you'll save money learning from others mistakes! Do you have any tips or words of encouragement for other cosplayers? Don't give up because someone has done the cosplay you want better than you think you can. Do what you want. Where can we find you on all things social? Twitter: @corcidcosplay Instagram: @corcidcosplay Tumblr Patreon Cosmunity: Corcid I hope you enjoyed that as much as I did. In the mood for more?
