Today is part two of an adorable Canadian cosplay couple! Sarah is such a beautiful woman and she takes this opportunity to share with us a very REAL horror story that has happened to her at a convention. Read the interview below! How and when did you get into cosplay? I was obsessed with Hinata (from Naruto) and strived to look like her, I was 13 at the time when I cut off all my long brown hair and dyed it indigo! What do you do when you're not in cosplay or geeking out? I work at a cute place called Kate Spade and I nap in my free time. How do you choose your next cosplay? Strange enough, I base this on the seasons of upcoming cons, holidays, etc. So I don't overheat or freeze to death! Who is your cosplay idol/inspiration? Jessica Nigri and Yaya Han since they've built their own cosplay empires! What cosplay(s) are you working on right now? Widowmaker from Overwatch Rebel Legion Official Rey from Star Wars Ygritte from Game of Thrones ya know, purdy ladies What is your dream cosplay? I would love to do a Disney Princess like Rapunzel or Merida since they're adorable, young, energetic and fun. OR PETER PAN OR JIM HAWKINS What is a random fun fact about you as a cosplayer or one of your cosplays?
I am always sweating buckets when I am in cosplay... ALWAYS. Do you have any cosplay or convention pet peeves? Grabbing or touching me/my cosplay/props without my permission is not cool. Do you have any horror stories or mistakes you've made that others can learn from? When I just turned 18 i decided to cosplay Black Rock Shooter as a booth babe for a friends company. You talk to people, try to sell things, it's overall a pretty good time. So first day on the job a larger old man came up to our booth and said he was a magician and he needed an assistant for a magic trick. I volunteered because i love magic tricks. Long story short he tied my hands up in front of me with a few feet of rope, turned away and ran off which sent me hurtling forward after him. I was dragged on the concrete floor through a crowd on my bare knees. I was bruised, bloodied, embarrassed and humiliated. He did not apologize, he laughed awkwardly and grabbed his rope and left. Have fun, don't be an ass. Don't hurt anyone in the process of your idea of "FUN". Do you have anything else you want to say, or add to this interview? Keep duck tape and safety pins on you at all time. You may just save a life. Where can we find you on all things social? Instagram @bittydionysus facebook.com/bittydionysus Photos for this interview provided by DmacStudios, LTLCinematics, and edit by FeriAnimations. Sarah is such an awesome cosplayer and she's been through so much! If you see her and the Cosmic Monster together, say hello! I also have a month of giveaways going on right now. Check out this post for all the info you need to know!! *kiss kiss*
