Tis the season for costumes whether you're a cosplayer or not! Looking for a last minute fit for your social distancing plans? ;) I partnered up with LegAvenue and came up with a few great looks!! Keep reading to see my outfits!
Disclaimer: Some of the items pictured below have been sent to me for free. This is however, NOT a sponsored post and all thoughts and stylings are my own. There are no affiliate links in this blog post.

Let's start with the unboxing! I shared this video to my IG stories, and in typical Breezeeweezee fashion it is pure chaos. Enjoy this short video, or keep scrolling for the breakdowns and reviews of the LegAvenue products!
Costume 1: Pretty Pixie

This costume is new this year to their site. It includes the dress, wings, hair ribbon and shoe pom poms! The wig is also from LegAvenue although I styled it up into a quick bun using a claw clip and A LOT of bobby pins!

Honest Review

This costume is the plus size design of a Pixie costume. You can see the two variations side by side below. I appreciate custom designs for bigger sizes as they can typically be more flattering on a wider range of body shapes and sizes.

The only downside is that the dress was really long. Knee length! Not sure if that was intentional or not but I like my dresses short ;) The ribbon also felt forced to the design but it can make a cute choker even if hair ribbon isn't your thing?

Overall it's super cute, stretchy and size inclusive (up to 4x) Just made for tall ass Goddesses. An easy fix would be to scrunch up and belt the waist, OR simply cut the bottom into the shape you want since it's no fray, no hem material.

The wig is your standard costume wig. The wefts are highly focused at the top of the head and it's a bit shiny, but to a non-cosplayer eye, it's actually lovely and you can't see the wig cap through the synthetic fibers! It truly wasn't too thin to style into an up-do.

Overall, it's what you'd expect, so on a relative level it's a solid buy. If you're a cosplayer looking for quality, this isn't for you.

Costume 2: Wicked Witch

I assembled this look using several accessories and pieces from their site. The GORGEOUS bodysuit and ADORABLE bendable witch hat were sent to me for free, and the thigh highs are also from LegAvenue, but I've had them for a while now purchased through Amazon! I used a wig I had on hand, and I made the broom myself from foam!

If you plan to go out in it, the bodysuit can easily be styled up or down however you like with some solid black pieces!

Honest Review

The lace bodysuit is plus size, and I've always had issues with teddy type lingerie fitting a bit too tight on my taller-than-average torso, but this was such a comfy fit, I was so impressed. The low cut front was flattering, and the sleeves are just SOOOO FUNNNN.

Overall, I have absolutely zero complaints about this piece, and I have A LOT of lingerie LOL. Highly recommend.

The witch hat came bent a bit out of shape to fit the box, but luckily it's made with a very durable wire rim and it was super easy to bend back to shape and then to a cute shape fit for a witch! The hat cone part (lol what do you call it?) is sturdy and holds shape! My only complaint is the "tail" of the hat which is just 2D felt attached. Realistically, it's the best way to make the crooked design, it just flops around a lot IRL/on video.

Overall it's an AMAZING witch hat. I love the wide brim which is pretty uncommon for generic costume witch hats. I mean worst case, if you don't like the floppy tail part, you could easily just cut it off.

★★★★☆

The thigh highs from LegAvenue on Amazon are NOT plus sized. But I've always found their thigh highs stretchy, soft, and comfortable. No cut off circulation here. They are NOT silicone grip top, so they will roll without garters, but I find the bow stops the roll quite effectively.

It is worth noting that they do carry plus size tights on their site and that is an option if you're seeking maximum comfort, or even height for you long legged goddesses.

Overall, LegAvenue tights are my longest lasting tights. I rip tights INSTANTLY unless their dancer tights. Automatically that's a win for me.

I've been a fan of this brand long before they ever reached out with a sponsorship, and with their products so easily accessible in Halloween stores, on their own online website, and via Amazon; they're a clear choice for your last minute Halloween looks!!

I hope you found this review informative, fun, and helpful! I'm really digging both looks. I won't link every single product, but they can all be found on their website for sure. If you do get a LegAvenue costume this year, tag me so I can see!! Send this review to a friend! <3
