I bought a pair of circle lenses for the very first time. I needed them for a very important cosplay coming up, and to be honest, they still creep me out!! But here is my full review for Uniqso! An important thing I noticed as soon as I picked them up, was that they delivered a pick up slip for me to go to my local post office. I thought this was so important. Living in Canada, I was so paranoid they would freeze and be ruined sitting in the post box all day. I got home and instantly ripped them open. They sent me a cute lens travel case and two extra cases with the lenses. I am not gonna lie, I ruined the first lens container trying to get the lid off. I had to use pliers and slowly peel off the tin... I googled it for the second one which went much easier. I would like to see that information more easily accessible, including lens care. I know how to take care of my lenses, but some people might not if it's their first time. I needed a bright green lens and I've had my eye on the Dolly Eye brand for a while, so I finally splurged with the Dolly Eye Twilight Green. It's also important for me to have prescriptions available or I would be fairly blind. I had done a photo shoot earlier that day, so I still had my false lashes on. But the first thing I noticed when I put the lens in was how huge it was! It wasn't uncomfortable or fit weird, but just looking at it on my face seemed so weird to me. I put the second one in and took a couple dozen selfies trying to get used to them. They still creep me out so much. I feel like a demon! The second pair weren't as bad; Uniqso had a promo running that if you buy any brand lens, you would get a pair of Sweety lenses for free. Took me a while to find a prescription lens in the brand, and I chose the Sweety Nudy 3 Tones Blue because it seemed the brightest. With dark brown eyes, bright lenses are important. It was still super creepy to me because of how big they were, but I think I'm used to seeing my eyes blue, so it wasn't as bad a shock. Overall Thoughts ★★★★☆ (4.5/5) Dolly Eye Appearance ★★★★☆ (4/5) I wish they were a bit brighter/lighter as in the demo photo on the website, but overall I'm happy. Sweety Appearance ★★★★★ (5/5) For a "free with purchase" and my limited choices, the color turned out really nice. I like myself with blue eyes, and the extra black outer circle is a nice detail. Comfort ★★★★★ (5/5) Feel just like regular contacts, even though they're wider. Cost ★★★★★ (5/5) The cost of these lenses is pretty comparable to any circle lens website. $23 US each pair is pretty standard. They're durable and can be worn for up to a year with proper care. Site Navigation ★★★☆☆ (3/5) It's not the best site for shopping from and finding what you need, but once you get the hang of it, you will eventually find what you're looking for. Shipping ★★★★★ (5/5) It was only $8 CAD to ship to Canada from overseas with a 20 day estimated delivery turn around. Plus it went to a postal center for pick up rather than being in my cold mail box for a day. I'm so excited to step up my cosplay game with these lenses. I really need a purple pair now!! And maybe a nice honey brown... okay, get me one of each color! This is not a sponsored review, I bought the lenses on my own. All opinions expressed in this review are 100% honest and my own.
